CLEAR CHICKEN SOUP/HOW TO MAKE A HEALTHY NO SPICE CLEAR SOUP

As the winter's are already here, alongside it brings lot of cold and flu viruses.And nothing can be better than a cleansing soup with lots of ginger and garlic to it.
This soup is a healthy soup with the goodness of Onions, Garlic, Ginger, and Black Peppercorns.

This soup is a staple requirement in my family to fight against the cold viruses .This chicken soup which is slow cooked and helps to extract the juices from Ginger and garlic which in turn helps to relax the sore throat.

Simple, Satisfying...Yum Yum...

INGREDIENTS:-

  • CHICKEN-2 BONELESS FILLETS
  • WATER-2.5 LTR
  • ONION-1 SLICED
  • GINGER-2 TBSP CHOPPED
  • GARLIC-2 TBSP CHOPPED
  • PEPPERCORNS-8-10 NO
  • BAY LEAF-1
  • CORIANDER- FEW SPRINGS
  • SALT-TASTE
  • PEPPER- TO TASTE

PROCEDURE:-
  •  Take a big pressure cooker and add water to it .
  • Now add bay leaf, sliced onion, Garlic, Ginger, peppercorns and chicken to it.
  • Put the whistle on to it and after 3-4 whistles , bring it to low heat and simmer it till 40-50 mins.
  • This ensures that the flavor are completely immersed into the broth.
  • Before serving shred the chicken and once again keep it on flame for 5 mins.
  • Now take the both in to the serving  bowl and add salt and pepper according to taste. garnish it with coriander leaves.
As this is a clear soup so I have not added any tomatoes or vegetables into it but you can add it.Personal Choice.

CLEANSING-Doctor's advise plenty of fluids when you are ill. A body which is getting attacked by the allergens and fighting antibodies need to be flushed out in order to get healthy. This clear soup helps to do so.

DISINFECTING- Chicken soup act as a disinfectant especially for throat , as it contains salt to soothe the sore throat.

SINUSES-Similar to other hot fluids it also helps to clear the blocked sinuses.

STRENGTH- Lean protein from chicken helps to gain energy and get stable.
